- Appearance - proper
costume and look, including matching the depicted era;
- Showmanship - use
of the stage, runway and personality to enhance your performance;
- Performance
Material - songs are performed correctly, with respect
to timing, words and melody;
- Authenticity of Presentation - ability
to match Elvis’ performances,
movements etc.;
- Vocal Ability - ability to provide the tone,
pitch and quality of Elvis’ voice.
You will be judged strictly on the criteria listed above.
Each Performer is required to “play” the entire stage and
runway. Judges will be instructed to pay particular attention to how
each Tribute Artist makes use of the stage area and facing each direction
equally for the audience’s enjoyment from any type of seating.
You will benefit in your performance, both in Showmanship and Presentation,
if you work the crowd accordingly.
