Events Participation:
The following are events that we encourage your participation in. These events are voluntary. Please select all events that you wish to participate in. Please note that once you make your selections we expect you to honour these commitments. Please understand that participation in these events is necessary in order to keep or festival fun and eventful for the fans attending each year.

All of us, collectively, including Venues, Tribute Artists, Festival Organizers, Local Businesses, Volunteers, Fans, Media etc. are PARTNERS in this effort. We are ALL important and integral parts of the festival. Each component is dependant on the other to ensure continued success and we, therefore, ask for as much commitment, determination and co-operative spirit as you can offer. That is why we encourage you to participate in as many events as you can while you are here in Collingwood. Your success is our success….and vice versa!
We hope you will consider participating in all events to assist us in continuing to offer excitement for all our visitors while we honour Elvis Presley®. We NEED your support!
Friday Night Street Party - 3:00 pm to 11 pm
 
  • Perform 1 song with band or track - your choice on Hurontario Street.
  • Perform 1 song with TRACK ONLY at Collingwood Curling Club on Hume Street.
  • Approximate performance time, song selection and order number for performance will be provided in advance. If you have specific time requests please inform us.
Saturday Morning Parade - 9:00 am to 11:00 am
 
  • Attend "Tribute Parade" to ride in a classic car.
  • Be at starting location at 8:30 am to be assigned to a car.
Saturday Afternoon Venue Tour - 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm
 
  • Perform at an assigned venue. Performance time will be assigned and will be for a maximum of 45 minutes.You will receive a performance fee for participating. You MUST attend at the Pine Street stage area during the afternoon from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for judging. You will be provided with a judging time so you will know when to attend. Otherwise, the remainder of your time is your own to travel various venues, rest your voice, visit with friends, mingle with fans & media. It's up to you!

  • 45 minute fill-in at a local club at $100 flat fee.
Local/Area Stores
  You will receive a participation fee for performing.

Media Conference
Meet the press for photo opportunities and interviews.
Essence of Elvis© - Goodwill Showcase
Perform at a Hospital, Nursing home, Library, etc. Showcase yourself by performing a short set for those less fortunate who would love to see and hear you shine.
Perform during Band Breaks.
Perform a short set to showcase your talents to the public.
Participate in Open Mic/Karaoke Sessions
Locations to be annnounced
Participate in our Karaoke Pub Crawl
For those coming to town on Thursday, a short performance at each local official venue with other Tribute Artist performers.
Special Showcases (if available)
You will be paid a performance fee at these locations.

Early Bird Registration - $85.00 + GST ($90.95) CDN for all categories - Competitive or Non-Competitive.

After April 1, 2006 - $90.00 + GST ($96.30) CDN for all categories - Competitive or Non-Competitive.

Registration is NOT complete until full payment is received.

A "Professional Quality" printable photo in costume (Colour or B & W) is required. Colour photocopies, newspaper or passport photos will not be accepted and will result in your photo being excluded from the program.

By submitting this form the Tribute Artist hereby understands and agrees to participate in the Festival program. The Tribute Artist further agrees that his/her likeness and voice may be captured in a variety of audio/video or print media promotional reproductions/material as a result of their participation in the Collingwood Elvis® Festival 2006, and that no remuneration will be paid for such performances, appearances, or likenesses utilized, either intentionally or unintentionally, unless otherwise agreed. All Tribute Artists, whether Competitive or Non-Competitive, hereby understand and accept that they are contractually responsible, upon signing of this registration form, to be ready, willing and available to participate in the Festival events as required or agreed.

The Festival Organizers reserve the right to refuse or revoke any registration for any reason that the committee deems necessary to protect the integrity and image of Elvis Presley®, in accordance with our Licensing Agreement with Elvis Presley® Enterprises International.
