(March 2, 2014) Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) is proud to announce the new inductees to the FEO Hall of Fame as well as the 2014 FEO Volunteer of the Year. FEO believes it is important to recognize the significant contributions of these individuals to the festival and event industry; without passion and dedication, this industry could not survive. The Volunteer of the Year and Hall of Fame Awards were handed out on Saturday, March 1 during FEO’s Annual Conference Excite & Energize in Richmond Hill, ON.

2014 TOP 100 FESTIVALS & EVENTS IN ONTARIO ANNOUNCED

Provincial organization recognizes industry leaders
(March 2, 2014) Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) is proud to announce the 2014 Top 100 Festivals & Events in Ontario, presented by VIA Rail Canada. These Top 100 recipients represent festivals and events that excel within the industry. Included in the Top 100 are the Festivals & Events of Distinction, a select group which represent some of the most well-known and respected celebrations in the province; celebrations which draw both an international and domestic audience.
Submissions from FEO members were received for consideration in the fall of 2013 and were judged by an independent panel of judges. Festivals and events of all kinds from every corner of Ontario were represented in the submissions – from community festivals to internationally recognized events. The 2014 Top 100 Awards were given out on Saturday, March 1 during FEO’s Annual Conference Excite & Energize in Richmond Hill, ON.

2014 tickets are now available
Collingwood, ON – Tickets for the 2014 Collingwood Elvis Festival are now available for purchase through the Festival website at: www.collingwoodelvisfestival.com or by calling 1-866-943-8849, and selecting option #1.
Tickets range in price from $5 to $70 (+HST and service fees). Even without tickets, there’s still plenty of Elvis action, with more than 50 individual events and activities. Join friends, family, and fans in the heart of Collingwood’s historic downtown, just 90 minutes north of Toronto.
The Festival runs July 23 – 27.
This year the Collingwood Elvis Festival, the largest of its kind in the world, celebrates its 20th anniversary with a theme of Elvis Gold and promises to be the biggest and best festival yet. There will be five jam-packed days of Vegas-style shows, tribute artist competitions, outdoor concerts, family activities, collectibles, a carnival and a classic car parade.
The Collingwood Elvis Festival is presented in partnership with the Town of Collingwood, Collingwood Downtown, Collingwood Chamber of Commerce, Blue Mountain Resort, OLG, and the Government of Ontario.
